Tank Tussle is playable without an account. If you never press Connect, the game behaves as it always has: your progress stays on your phone and the developer receives no personal data about you.
If you do connect a Google account — which is required only for online multiplayer and cloud saves — the game then sends a small amount of data to a server operated by the developer. The sections below list exactly what is sent, why, and how to have it deleted.
The game also shows optional rewarded ads, supplied by Google AdMob. An ad is only ever shown when you press the reward button yourself — never between rounds, never on launch, never as a banner.
Connecting is entirely your choice. It unlocks online multiplayer, saves your progress so it survives reinstalling the game, and grants a one-time coin bonus. Signing in is handled by Google; the developer never sees your Google password.
| What we receive | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture URL | To create and recognise your player account, and to show your name to the person you are playing against. |
| Your game progress: coins, unlocked tanks and weapons, wins, mission stars | So your progress can be restored on a new phone or after reinstalling. |
| App version, device model, chosen language | To know which versions are still in use, to prompt for updates, and to decide which languages the game should support. |
| Counts of how often the reward button was pressed and how many rewarded ads were watched to the end | Aggregate numbers only, used to judge whether the reward feature works. No advertising identifier is stored on our server. |
| A notification token, if you allow notifications | To tell you that another player has invited you to a battle. See Notifications below. |
This data is stored on a virtual server rented from Contabo GmbH, located in France (European Union). It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone except as described in this policy.
During an online battle the other player sees your display name
and your player ID (a code such as TT7K9F2A).
Your email address is never shown to other players. The moves of a battle —
shots, movement and the result — are stored on our server so that a match can
continue if your connection drops.
When no human opponent is available, you may be matched with a computer opponent. These opponents carry ordinary-looking names; matches against them are marked as such on our side and do not count towards rankings.
If you allow notifications, the game can tell you when a player invites you to a battle, and when your next in-game reward is ready. Invitation notices are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which requires a device token to be stored on our server. Reward reminders are scheduled locally by your phone and involve no server at all.
We do not send advertising or promotional notifications.
You can disconnect at any time from the game's main screen (press your player ID, then confirm). Disconnecting signs you out but keeps your saved progress so you can return to it.
To have your account and all associated data permanently deleted, send an email to malikoglu.anar@gmail.com from the address of the Google account you connected, or include your player ID. Your account, progress, match history and notification token are erased within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
POST_NOTIFICATIONS |
To remind you, on your device, when your next in-game reward is ready. The reminder is scheduled locally by your phone's alarm clock. You may decline this permission or turn the notification off at any time; the game works exactly the same way without it. |
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE |
Added by the Google Mobile Ads library so it can request an ad when you ask for one. The game itself sends nothing over the network: no scores, no progress, no identifiers, no messages. |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID and the Android
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_* permissions
|
Declared by the same library. They let Google read the resettable advertising ID your phone provides, which is how ad frequency and measurement work. You can reset or delete that ID at any time — see "Your choices" below. |
There is no permission for storage, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or your phone's IMEI/serial number. You can check this yourself under Settings → Apps → Tank Tussle → Permissions.
The game saves a small amount of state locally so it can remember your setup between sessions. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Selected tank and colour | To restore your choice in the garage |
| Difficulty and language | To keep your preferred setting |
| Sound, music and volume settings | To keep your preferred setting |
| Coins earned in battles | Local progress counter |
| Which tanks and weapons you have unlocked | To restore your arsenal |
| Mission stars | To remember which missions you have completed |
| Time of your last reward | To time the reward cooldown and its reminder |
| Your advertising consent choice | So you are not asked again on every launch |
This is stored in Android's private SharedPreferences area, which
is sandboxed to this app and not readable by other applications.
If you have not connected an account, none of it ever leaves your phone. If you have connected one, the progress items above (coins, unlocked tanks and weapons, mission stars) are also kept on our server so they can be restored later — see the account section above. Your settings (sound, difficulty, language) and your consent choice always stay local.
Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. When you press the reward button, Google's software requests an ad and, to do so, may process:
This data goes to Google, not to the developer. The developer only ever sees aggregated reports: how many ads were shown and how much they earned. Those reports contain no information about individual people.
How Google uses this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
The game is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, contact the address below and it will be addressed.
This page is updated before any app version that changes what data is handled is published, and the date at the top is changed accordingly.
11 August 2026. Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob) were added. Before this date the app contained no advertising and requested no internet access. Versions 1.0–1.2 remain ad-free.
